SWT program on Linux can find jar files.
I have a SWT program that I want to jar and run on a Fedora 11 Linux environment. The program runs fine in my Eclipse IDE but will not find the dependent jars (swt.jar, the eclipse plugin jars, etc...) no matter where I put them or how I declare them in my classpath. I decided to put all the content of the dependent jars inside my jar by using the subtask <zipfileset ... />. It appears that the compile and jar process worked but when I go to run my jar I get a security error regarding the jar file not being signed.
Do I really have to sign the jar to run it as a standalone program in Linux and once I sign the jar will I be able to transfer the jar to a second machine and run it without having to jump through more hoops?
