    Default Re: Question about Spring

Ok, this might be a little late to answer, maybe for the records:
Spring is the general framework that has multiple modules.
Spring boot is a bootstrapping tool and contains info about dependencies between the different spring libraries or external libraries. Most "bootstrappers" go to the "initializr" in spring.io, enter what they plan to do and it will give them a ready to go Maven/Spring Boot project that has all dependencies and a pre-filled pom.xml file implemented.
Spring MVC is one of the modules that are used for web projects. You can get one as ready to go project from Spring Boot.
