java - "command" modelName magic value in spring MVC 3 - Stack Overflow

the answerer said if the jsp is like this:

Java Code:
<form:form method="POST" action="../App/addCar">
<table>
<tr>
    <td><form:label path="brand">Name</form:label></td>
    <td><form:input path="brand" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
    <td><form:label path="year">Age</form:label></td>
    <td><form:input path="year" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
    <td colspan="2">
        <input type="submit" value="Submit" />
    </td>
</tr>
</table>
</form:form>
then the model name should be "command"

if it is like the following

Java Code:
<form method="POST" action="../App/addCar">
<table>
<tr>
    <td><form:label path="YOUR_MODEL_NAME.brand">Name</form:label></td>
    <td><form:input path="YOUR_MODEL_NAME.brand" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
    <td><form:label path="YOUR_MODEL_NAME.year">Age</form:label></td>
    <td><form:input path="YOUR_MODEL_NAME.year" /></td>
</tr>
<tr>
    <td colspan="2">
        <input type="submit" value="Submit" />
    </td>
</tr>
</table>
</form>
the model name can be self-defined

he said the second one is html form, and I think the first one is spring form
but in my opinion, for html form , there is no "form:lable" and keyword "path"
can anyone discuss this?
