What do you want to do with it?

Assuming you want to play around with the API, then you add the jar files (which look to be in the zip file download) to your project.

As for the projects, Netbeans should have a way of importing an existing project, so stick the project in a folder and try and import/open it in Netbeans.
Please do not ask for code as refusal often offends.

Have you found the Getting Started pdf?
