    Default Somebody help me building this program its very very EASY

    Question:
    Having two arrays, the first array handles students’ ID, and the second array handles their names.
    Write a complete Java program that asks the user to enter the ID, and retrieve the name that
    corresponds to that ID index.
    Example:
    ID[ ] = {201510011, 201520099, 2014100113}
    Name[ ] = {“Jassim Ali”, “Fatima Ahmed”, “Sara Khalid”}
    If the user entered 201520099, he will get: Fatima Ahmed

    If it's very very EASY, then I think you would have no trouble getting this done.

    If you have no idea how to do this then how can you possibly assess the degree of difficulty?

    We know. This forum regularly sees posts like this. Some are creative, some are deceiving, some are just a photo of the paper where the assignment is printed on. They all fall in the category: please do my homework. And that is exactly what *not* is going to happen.

    If you don't understand a part, be it syntax or logic, post your efforts here, along with your questions, code, error messages and stuff, then people will be very patient and help you out. But it requires effort from your part.

    No problem, glad we were of service.
    Please do not ask for code as refusal often offends.

    Wow. Interesting conversation. Enjoyed reading this conversation. Moment of my day.

    @Silverar, I would suggest try to solve the problem urself first, and then ask any questions u would have, if ur stuck someplace?

    First, we can start with Arrays, here is good documentation that can help.

    https://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutor...ts/arrays.html

    Not sure if this is much help. I am a newbie myself. But at least I am trying my best instead of you just having someone do ur homework. LOL :D

    class arrayDemo {

    public static void main(string[] args) {

    int[] anArray;

    anArray = new int[10];

    anArray[0] = 100;

    Good for you!! But I doubt if your advice will be seen as I do not believe the OP will be back.
