    Default Need help identifying this table

    I wrote 2 versions of a bubble sort, one is a piece-wise and the other is a list-wise, and the list-wise is basically just a selection sort. I also have a merge sort. I haven't decided on what the fourth sorting method will be but I'll get to that later. I have a couple questions about the table below.

    1.) For the Average Cases (Your analysis), what is it that I put there? How is that different from the observation?
    2.) Lastly, anyone here have got a clue what Big O (time) [Worst case] is. I'm kind of confused because of the (time). Do we time our sorting algorithm???

    The rest are pretty self explanatory so I understand them.
