    Can someone in simple terms very simple terms explain what Unicode is, it's significance, and where it might be used. Thank you.

    Haha yea , the definitions i found gave me a jist of what is it is but i would like someone to me in simpler terms so that i can clarify the information i have.

    Unicode is like ASCII code, but it uses much larger numbers because it defines about every character in the world (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, you name them).
