    Default Learning Java

Hey I have a quick question about java and this seemed like the best place to post it at.

I've recently just gotten into programming and have decided to learn java.
I've been getting into some coding and have watched some youtube videos but My actual question is where can I find a "Dictionary" of every java
    "word" used. for example
    Hey, Welcome to Javadictionary.com

    public: open to everyone
static if it doesn't make sense make it static
private: usable only by something, the main class? I forgot. but i'm sure you get the point

    I've checked out here

    https://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/

But it just seems to show classes and not actual java code's and what they do.
I hope you guys get what I mean lol, If you could explain that API too me like I'm at 2 year old, that would also help :P

    Best Regards

Get yourself a java book buddy. I know it seems like bucky's tutorials are getting you hype cause it seems your learning fast but..theres alot of in b/w stuff your missing out on. I recommend Java Early Objects by tony gaddis, if you want to learn the words behind the actions u gotta get a book.

Static meams it doesn't change, an example helps you see that but in short, once you set something in a variable, that variable stays the same even if you try to overwrite it.

btw, private means that only that class can use it and classes that it inherits from. also from what i know private's arent generally declared in main.

A good place to start your learning is the Oracle tutorials: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/index.html

A lot of sample code for the various classes and packages (some of it may be outdated though): Java by API examples (example source code) Organized by topic

I know you're trying to be helpful, but neither of those are correct.
