Default [2-D ARRAY] How to put an 2darray on top of another?

Can i put a 2d array on top of another? so when i want to give the one in the back an entry, it will be on the one on top? Ex. I have a 4*4 2d array, and a 2*2 , the 2*2 is in the top left corner of the 4*4 array, and i want to give the [0][3] lets say a number, i want it to be on the 2*2 instead of the 4*4, any idea?

    Hi endgameboss2, welcome.

Is this not just a 4d array?

    Regards.

In Java, multidimensional arrays are basically uni-dimensional arrays with other uni-dimensional arrays as elements. As
far as I know there is no practical limit on the number of levels of indirection.
