    Default java data base

    hy everyone,

So i created GUI program for inputing some strings in a JTextField, and when user hits enter another window pops out and shows what was written in a main window, and creates a list, like : 1 : string, 2 : string. My question is how to save that list, so when I open my program again, I have a special button that opens that list, but all the info from before is gone.So i simply wanna be able to save that list when program is closed , and open when i use the program again. Just direct me, if there is a special method for saving or something like that. I'll explore it. thanks and help please.

You can write the data to a text file, and read it back and parse it, or you can look into using serialization.
