Java problem
Java problem
I put three Chat Rooms on my website (I think all 3 use Java) for my students to chat.
However, one of them is causing Java problems. I see 3 different logs on my desktop after using the Chat Rooms:
HS_err pid 3472.log
hs_err_pid2796.log
hs_err_pid2728.log
#1- What do I do now?
#2- Did these "screw-up" my computer or my Java (1.6.0_b03)?
#3- Can't we use the Chat Rooms any longer?
#4- Is there any way to tell which Chat Room is causing these Java problems?
#5- Does anyone know what is going on?
#6- Or is it simply a problem of Java not being able to run with one of the Chat Rooms?
#7- Is this really serious?
The reports look something like this:

Are these programs that you have created, that you are the programmer? If so, then we'll need to know more information. If not, then you'll need to contact the support site for this software.

No. I am not creator. They are Chat Rooms that I linked to and put the links on my web site. When we click on the link, the Chat Room opens and then we can chat.
There were 3 different Chat Rooms that we included to see which one is best. I think one of them is causing the Java problems.
I am going to delete all 3 of them but I wanted to know if those error reports meant that my Java was DAMAGED or that my computer was damaged?
Or just that the Java program could not run/work with one of these Chat Rooms (which all use Java I beleive).
I am not too familiar with computers, Java, etc., and that is why I am concerned that something might have happened to my computer or whether it just means (as I said) that the Java program would not work with one of these Chat Rooms?

You need to contact the service for these programs. Let me lock this thread as it is way off topic for these forums. These are programmer's forums, not a general Java help site. Best of luck.
