    Default Problem in creating a file

    I need to create a file on the unix box.

    In my code if i give the path of my local machine, ods.txt file is being created at that particular location.
    FILE_PATH=C:\\Documents and Settings\\user\\ods.txt

    But when i try to create the same file on unix box (Server) ods.txt file is not beeing created.It says path not found.I tried in different ways.

    FILE_PATH=/apps/efs/ods.txt
    FILE_PATH=//apps//efs//ods.txt
    FILE_PATH=apps//efs//ods.txt

    Do i need to set set anything on my local machine inorder to create a file on unix.

    Thanks in advance.

    Default

    Use the java API for the default path separator for whatever OS you are on: File (Java Platform SE 6)
