    Default Can't debug in Eclipse(Can't connect to VM)

    I create a simple helloworld java project in eclipse. but i failed to debug it.
    A messagebox says:Cannot connect to VM.
    And flowing log message printed in the console pane:

    FATAL ERROR in native method: JDWP No transports initialized, jvmtiError=AGENT_ERROR_TRANSPORT_INIT(197)
    ERROR: transport error 202: connect failed: Connection refused
    ERROR: JDWP Transport dt_socket failed to initialize, TRANSPORT_INIT(510)
    JDWP exit error AGENT_ERROR_TRANSPORT_INIT(197): No transports initialized [../../../src/share/back/debugInit.c:690]


    my system is Debian Squeeze, JDK 1.6, Eclipse Version: Helios Service Release 1
    I googled but failed to fix my problem.
    Any ideas?

    Clear it up, did you try to use eclipses debugger?

    I think im using Eclipse's debugger, because I use accelerator F11 to launch debuging.

    Why? the installation is completely new.

    The problem due to ipv6 of debian setting.
