    Default The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed

    Hi ,
    i am new to java .
    we are having java parser in our shell script.

    Java Code:
    export JAVA_HOME='/opt/java1.5'
    export CLASSPATH=$base/xercesImpl.jar:$base/xml-apis.jar:$base/xercesSamples.jar:$PATH
    and i am executing this

    Java Code:
    ${JAVA_HOME}/bin/java -classpath "$CLASSPATH" PPDSAXParser_general1_CRE23 $FILE_DIR/$file.xml $FILE_DIR/$PARSE_LAYOUT>> $FILE_DIR/$file.xml.out

    it is throwing with message saying that

    Java Code:
    Error in parsing XML layout
    org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed.
    	at org.apache.xerces.parsers.AbstractSAXParser.parse(Unknown Source)
    	at PPDSAXParser_general1_CRE23.Parse(
    	at PPDSAXParser_general1_CRE23.main(

    Please let me wats the problem i am not able to debug it

    Your xml file is not well-formed.
    Nothing to do with Java particularly.
