    Default help with identifying components of a gui

    I understand most of the components its just the last part and here it is

    private Panel pnlInput = new Panel();
    private Panel pnlOutput = new Panel();
    private Panel pnlCommand = new Panel();

    how do I describe this part and what does it do???

    This is creating Panel objects for each pnlInput, pnlOutput and pnlCommand.
    You can then interact with the object just as you can with an object in the real world. Check out the Java documentation for the methods and operations you can use with panel().

    Hope this helps.
