playing audio in J-App??

Hi guys!

Can someone please direct me to more tutorials on how to add an audio file inside a java program?? I've searched the net but not much of help... I'm just into trying some stuff with java...

Or if someone can give me a sample code, it would be of great help...

Does java only accepts *.wav files? I just thought *.mp3's are a lot easier to deal with..:)

To use file formats other than *.wav and *.au, you should use the JMF frame work. It can also be used to play mpg videos too.

However, beware of this: While Java is platform independent, remember mp3 is not platform independent.
