    Exclamation Need some serious advice

    Hello,

i want to know the way to gather experience on application developing on a real platform. I am a plain graduate with a diploma in computers, and then i have done Java-J2EE with EJB.
And now i want to pursue a career as J2EE application developer. I don't have any further experience in Java-J2EE field except that I teach Java in school level (which is of no use that i know).
Now am i day dreaming?? is my not having a BTech pose an issue?? does being an SCJP help me??
In most job portals, the companies need experienced/BE/BTech freshers.
Is it impossible for me to become a J2EE application developer??
Please some one tell me how should i proceed and prepare myself to fufill my dream, I really really love to work in this arena. And i honestly want to work, literally.

Actually, everyone is looking for experience, so...
I don't have any relevant experience how could i apply for that?? I am working on some projects like online hotel management system, online book store. but that's not of the industry standard, i think.
Hey, does Live Project programs help??

I asked other question. I mean about you tried to pass some interviews or to make some testing assignments. What is technology do you use in there are projects?

The testing assignment is short project, which can show your knowledge in field.
So EJB is very difficult thing. If you can figure out with it I think you can to learn other technology.
About frameworks. Yes You are right. I advice you to learn two a base frameworks. There are Spring and Hibernate.

thanks Petr, i will start learning hibernate. but, which is a good book to learn for hibernate?
and yeah, i am doing a small project on online hotel mgmt using jsp/html as views, ejb session beans as model and servlets as controller. i have used the JDBC API to connect to the SQL database.
its certainly a learning process, the project developing.
