    Default JavaDB application question

In my application I use a JavaDB ClientDriver connection to the database. I developed it in a linux environment, while it will be running on a Windows computer. What do I need to have on the other computer? Should I have there JavaDB running?
If I use a MySQL connector, should I have mySQL server running on the host computer for the application to work correctly?

    Default Re: JavaDB application question

You will need the database server (for whichever db you choose) running on the machine.
Either that or have a db on a server that the app accesses.

But based on your other threads you really really ought to bite the bullet and turn it into an embedded database, allowing you to supply the database with the app at the same time.
Please do not ask for code as refusal often offends.
