    Default problem in jsp

    hi guys.. i'm a newbie in jsp.. i have this statement <input type="text" name="done" value='<%=request.getAttribute("TextValue")%>'/> in jsp and i want it to convert in html .. how to convert it in html? thanks alot

    It would be great if you could explain what you are trying to do.

    The code is more or less html already. It just includes some extra stuff that is replaced when processed. This is required because HTML is static but you want dynamic content.

    So the html stuff is:
    <input type="text" name="done" value='<%=request.getAttribute("TextValue")%>'/>
    Where <%=request.getAttribute("TextValue")%> is replaced with the Attribute "TextValue" of the request.

    So you could write <input type="text" name="done" value='Hello World!'/> as an example.
