    Default newbie JSF web application

    Hello All,

    I am very newbie to JSF. I've just started to learn JSF. As we all know, the best way to learn is to start a basic project. So I am also with the same:

    I want to create a JSF page like:

    VIEW
    1. create a JSF page, that asks for username

    MODEL
    2. variables that stores few usernames and their respective first name and last name

    CONTROLLER
    3. checks if the entered username matches with the stored username,

    if match is found JSF page displays the corresponding first name and last name of the username else displays "username does not match"

    Please correct me if there is any mistake with this post.

    I do not know how to start with. Please can any one help me for this.

    ... AFTER you do some basic study using a book to at least know SOMETHING. You can't learn calculus by just starting to do some random math.

    Why yes I can, but do note that large websites selling books, such as Amazon, can do that a whole lot better through the user reviews.
