MQ Visual Edit allows users to view, manipulate and manage messages in a queue of a WebSphere MQ (formally MQSeries) queue manager and presents the data in a simplified format similar to a database utility or spreadsheet program. It is designed for application programmers, JMS developers, quality assurance testers, and production support personnel. It can run on any platform that supports Java v1.4 (or higher). It can connect to local queue managers or to any remote queue manager.

This release adds the hostname and port # to the title bar when connecting to a remote queue manager. It adds a "Retry to Original Destination" option to the Forward Message window. It adds the Preference option "Wrap text in Message Edit window". It adds the Preference option "Show line numbers in Message Edit window". It adds an Undo/Redo feature to the Message Edit window. It changes how MQVB handles the data after the dead letter header. It fixes a bug in the MQMD PutDate and PutTime column display on Linux. It fixes a bug in the script for Unix/Linux/Mac OS X. On Windows, the JVM has been switched to Excelsior Jet v1.6.0_41
