Starting somewhere - what book?
I've been searching almost everywhere I could think of, of tips about Java gaming books. (Google / javagaming.org :D )
I've made a list of the books I've found, and listed them in a order of those I've read more about, and those that I've almost got no info about.
The list is:
Books I know a little about
Killer Game Programming in Java - Andrew Davison
Pro Java 6 3D Game Development - Andrew Davison
Developing Games in Java - David Brackeen
Books I've just listed the names of
Black Art of Java Game Programming - Joel Fan
Practical Java Game Programming - Dustin Clingman
Advanced Java Game Programming - David Wallace Croft
Beginning Java Game Programming Second Edition - Jonathan S.
Does maybe anyone here have any experience about the books or books in general about java game development?
(A little info about "where" I am - Not needed to read if you're lazy )
I'm a student here in south Sweden.
Now it's the 3rd grade (I think it is the 12th or 13th school year)
We have something called a "project", where we are supposed to work with anything that we are interested of.
I'm intrested in Java programming, and I've been on the courses Programming A and B.
So.. I know the basics, now I wan't to advance a little ;)
EDIT: Found a book from 2010, "Introduction to Java Programming with Games - Ladd, B C". Anyone knows anything? :)
