Default Anyone with free time willing to look into a .jar file?

I have a .jar file that I am a qit unsure of, if it's legitimate, would anyone on here be willing to take a look inside of it? I am going out on the deep here, don't know if it's like "No learn Java stupid!" or "Sure why not let me see"
    Thanks in adv.

Open it with Winzip or Winrar to see for yourself. What do you expect to find inside?

The issue is that I don't know anything about Java. It's meant to do a certain thing and I think the one I have might be a scam.

Even if it is a scam, extracting the contents shouldn't be a problem unless you have a malicious jar or zip program. If all you see are class files
then it is probably of no use to you unless you trust it and are willing to try and execute it.

I don't know anything about Java
If it doesn't do what you want when you try to execute it, why are you messing with it. Delete it and move on.
If you don't understand my response, don't ignore it, ask a question.
