    Default Using Java 8 features to Answer Questions

    At what point would it be appropriate to start using Java 8 features in answering basic questions which are unrelated to Java 8 capabilities? This assumes that the responder is confident enough in their understanding of say lambda expressions, streams, and method references.

    Immediately. I tend to assume folks have access to the latest versions of everything unless they state otherwise.
