    Default Java Programmer OS

I want to ask about what is the ideal OS for java developer?
Now I'm using Ubuntu, but I think this OS too slowly for running or compiling my java programs.
My laptop specification is 4 GB RAM, intel core i3 processor and have a standard graphic card build by vendor. My laptop is Toshiba L630.
    Please help me

It doesn't matter. Use whatever you're most comfortable with. Why do you think your OS is too slow for compiling? What does that even mean?

When I compile my program, it feels too slow in ubuntu. Before I use ubuntu, i used windows and it never happen in windows. So, I think OS is affects for compile or running a program.

What do you mean by "feels too slow"? How long does it take?

I would think that your hardware affects the speed of stuff you're doing more than which OS you're using.

Either way, the answer stands: there is no "best" OS for developing Java. Use whatever you like the best.

Sounds like your Ubuntu setup is -really- poorly done then. The #1 failure of IT people: blaming it on the tools.

No, you don't. You only want to make posts and not listen to people. As KevinWorkman said: it makes no flipping difference.
