Default Stuck with Eclipse Issues in Specifying Tomcat Path

I am using Eclipse Mars 2 Release (4.5.2) [ Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers]. I am trying to add the Tomcat 8.5.14 path in the Server run time and I keep on getting error message :

The Apache Tomcat installation at this directory is version 8.5.14. A Tomcat 8.0 installation is expected.

I tried applying the patch on eclipse as mentioned in this post, it didn't work. I am on windows, and the other solution they have discussed is the hack to open catalina jar and modify ServerInfo.properties.

When I opened catalina.jar on Notepad++, I saw garbled text inside and nothing was readable. I am not sure how to do this step.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this issue?

Please ignore my post as I ended up installing Eclipse Neon and everything worked fine with Tomcat 8.5
