    Post how to determine exetion or elapsed time in eclipse for an application

    HI all,

    I am running a java application in eclipse juno. It runs for quite sometime so i cant monitor continuosly.

    my question is how to determine the time taken by the java program that is run in eclipse.

    I can find the start time is marked in console but the end time or the elapsed time is not visible to me.

    If you know where the program begins and where the program exits you can use the System.nanoTime() method. Check out the JDK API. It provides an example of how to time code execution.
