Default Generating Exe files from my project...

Hi to all !!!. My name is Agustin and I live in Argentina... My question is the following... Is there anyway to generate an exe file from my project ?. Coz there is a friend of mine that asked me If I could do some stuff for him and I would like him to open it like a normal exe file... Without needing any jdk... If you know the possibilities pls tell them to me... Although I have to say I have tried several programs like Jar2Exe or JSmooth... but they didn't work for me... anyway, if they worked pls tell me what did you do... Only that... Regards from Córdoba !

The easiest solution is for your friend to download the JRE -- there's absolutely no need for him to download the JDK which is required for development, not for running. Otherwise your options are to use a Jar to Exe converter like you've tried, and if they don't work, do some debugging, or contacting the creators to find out why. Best of luck!

I don't mean to be harsh, but Java is not a toy language. Start at the beginning of the tutorial, and you will quickly get to the part about running applications.
