Hi all,

I am currently using weblogic 10.3.6, and wanted to use primefaces 5.x or 4.x whichever possible.
AFAIK weblogic requires servlet 2.5.
Primefaces 5.x CMIIW uses jsf 2.x. Lets assume that we could theoretically build against jsf 2.0 which requires servlet 2.5 hence theoretically deployable to weblogic 10.3.6.

Currently I'm having problem when building showcase of primefaces 5.0 which i've downloaded from git to build the servlet 2.5 dependent binaries. I'm using jdk 5 to run mvn package.
Then the following occurred:

[INFO] Compilation failure

\Users\ab\Documents\showcase\src\main\java\org\pri mefaces\showcase\view\chart\ChartView.java:[23,24] package javax.annotation does not exist
\Users\ab\Documents\showcase\src\main\java\org\pri mefaces\showcase\view\csv\EmailConstraintValidator .java:[19,-1] cannot access javax.validation.ConstraintValidator

[INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------
so CMIIW, i have jdk 6 library being used by my jdk5 running mvn.
Is there away to go around this problem?

Is there a way so that I would be able to specify the particular library I want included has to be for jdk5 compatible.

I've already added in the pom:
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-compiler-plugin</artifactId>
<version>2.3.2</version>
<configuration>
<source>1.5</source>
<target>1.5</target>
<encoding>${project.build.sourceEncoding}</encoding>
</configuration>
</plugin>
But this I figure only deals with the source compilation rather than the gathering of the binaries required?

Please any kind of help is appreciated much.

Best Regards,
Johan
