Default Skip few files deployment while maven deployment to Nexus

    Hi All,

Is it possible to skip deployment of few files to nexus while running mvn deploy command conditionally? We have a war project which also creates few WSDL files, in some scenarios we want to deploy only the wsdl files to nexus during maven deploy command and skip the war file deployment.

    Thanks in advanced.

You'll have to create a new pom then which builds only what you want to build.

Thanks for the reply. I tried to create a separate POM file for this. However I am confused about packaging type. My original pom file has packaging as war and I am using build-helper-maven-plugin to attach the WSDL file as an artifact. In case I only to upload the WSDL file to Nexus how do I avoid the war file? Maven does not support WSDL as packaging.

If I change the packaging type to pom then it avoids uploading the war file. :)
