    Default Touch event

    I am trying to add a touch event so that when the user touches the screen the game starts . does anybody know how for android sdk ?

    Well, I know that for my regular PC based Java, that my screen touch events respond to mouse listeners. So I would presume it might be the same for Android. If you don't how to write a mouse listener there are some good examples in the Java tutorials. See the link in my signature below.

    You need to add a listener for the view in Android.

    I searched for a tutorial that had the items I wanted you to notice but I didn't try this tutorial personally. This should get you up to speed with the keywords you need to know
