Default No System Images Installed for this target

I am trying to compile some code and I need the emulator to do so.
Now when I attempt to do so it tells me I have to create a virtual device, an emulator, so when I attempt to create it it only gives me devices that when I choose them it automaticly changes the Target section to either API LEVEL 20 or API LEVEL 21 and benieth that section it says 'No system images installed for this target' I assume I need to install a certain package I am just not sure which system image package to install, I've already looked through the packages, and those names gave me a head-ache :D

    Thanks for any assistance.

The system images (versions of Android) are handled by the SDK Manager.
The emulator needs the relevant SDK to "build" the virtual device.
Please do not ask for code as refusal often offends.

@Tolls, eh.. I don't know I downloaded the dev kit which comes with everything already installed, so I am not sure about it, you sure I am not just supposed to install the correct package? Because I have seen on the internet that someone had that problem aswell just with another api level (not sure wtf this means but ok) and someone told him which system image he needed to install then he said he worked, don't you think it's the same case as here? Just download a package, the thing is I don't know which one to download.

    Yes it is the same.
And it's the SDK Manager (the link is in my previous post) that handles all that.

I am trying to compile some code and I need the emulator to do so.
Did you mean execute the code(not compile)?
I use Oracle's VirtualBox with Android VMs from Genymotion for my testing. I was never able to get the AVDs to work at a reasonable speed. The VM in VB starts in less than 30 seconds and closes about as fast.

    Got to agree with Norm.
Using Genymotion is a lot smoother.

Oh yeh, yeh, that was what I meant.
I meant to execute it, and thanks to both of you(Tolls, Norm).
