Default Changing an XML value dynamically

    Hello everyone,

    Here is my issue.

I need to change a value in my strings.xml file in (aka during the running of) one of my classes. I've found some solutions online to simply parsing/editing the xml values in a normal java program, but I'm still confused. First of all, how would I get the full path to that xml file on any device? And second of all, is it really that hard to do (the solutions are fairly long - or at least, longer than I would expect to do something that is seemingly so simple).

    Thanks,
    Alex

Are you talking about changing a file in the res folder while the apk is executing?
If you don't understand my response, don't ignore it, ask a question.

Yup. Which I've since discovered isn't doable unfortunately.
