    Default downloading Apache-Ant.

    I've donloaded Apache-ant and placed it in C:\ant. I set the User variables ANT_HOME = C:\ant\apache-ant-1.9.2-bin
    , JAVA_HOME = C:\java
along with PATH = %PATH%;C:\ant\apache-ant-1.9.2-bin\apache-ant-1.9.2\bin. The test to see if ant has been properly set up is to type ant
into the command line. Typing ant from C:\user\(my name) gives me the error : "ANT_HOME has been set incorrectly or ant could not be found."

    I Tried four different ANT_HOME's:

All of which return the same error. Can anyone tell me off the top of their heads what I am doing wrong?

    Default Re: downloading Apache-Ant.

I don't know. Here is what I just did.

    a) download ANT as a zip
    b) unpack to c:\java, so I get a folder c:\java\apache-ant-1.9.2-bin
    c) rename folder to c:\java\ant192
    d) add environmental variable ANT_HOME with the value c:\java\ant192
    e) add c:\java\ant192\bin to the PATH environmental variable
    f) restart command prompt
    g) type ant -version

    Java Code:
    Apache Ant(TM) version 1.9.2 compiled on July 8 2013
