Question problem with calling jsp page

    dear all

i am using myeclipse alongwith jdk 1.5.

    project name: test
test project hierarchy : see attachment

    when i call def.jsp from welcome.jsp , i usually use this path:
    <a href="pages/def.jsp" target="_self">click here</a>
    and its working fine.
but when i need to call def.jsp from abc.jsp, then i usually use this path:
    <a href="def.jsp" target="_self">click here</a>
it shows error --> The requested resource (/test/def.jsp) is not available.

Note:All i have done is using MyEclipse wizard to set the above path.

    solution from my side:
As soon as i change the above path as:
    <a href="pages/def.jsp" target="_self">click here</a>

    it works fine.

i dont know the reason why at the compilation time / design time using MyEclipse wizard , it takes
while at the runtime / deploy time , it expects below in order to call def.jsp from abc.jsp

is this a problem from MyEclipse that while deploying , it needs to change the path as href="pages/def.jsp" instead of href="def.jsp" when calling def.jsp from abc.jsp???????

thanks and looking for suggestions from ur side........:(
