how i can add struts 2.1.6 to netbeans 5.5.1 ???

hello friends,
currently i have struts 1.x version installed in the netbeans 5.5.1 but i want to implement user sign in and sign out functionalities so , for this i have to installed struts 2.1.6 because new api's are there in struts 2.1.6 which can help to implement sign and sign out functinalities.

so friends please tell me how can i attach the struts 2.1.6 framework to netbeans 5.5.1 .

Are you saying that you want to use the struts 2 functionalities inside struts1?

I am not sure if I understand this, if you just need to use some utility classes then add the jar file to your class path and it should be usable.

Unfortunately Struts1 and Struts2 are not very compatible as the Struts2 is a rebranding of webworks framework and not struts1.

I think in the struts2 distribution exists a struts1 plugin.
with this is it possible to integrate struts1 action in an struts2 application.
