Struts problem
I am developing an application web with struts, and need that the application could send email of alert when it is the date of maturity of an event, it would be a process that would be activate 24 hours checking constant, this can be possible?? thanks

I have done things like this plenty of times but I have used Quartz scheduler, which I then start with java line command on the server and set it to run every 24 hours or whatever you want. It is easy to use.
