    Default How to open a file located in server from client side

    Hi,

    My web application is based on struts. My query is, when client is clicking on a link, it has to open a folder to the client that was located in server system.

    Could anybody help me how i can do that.

    If you want to check any folder with in WEB-INF then use as
    InputStream input = getServletContext().getResourceAsStream(filepath);

    Sorry. Here server in the sense it is not the application or web server where the application resides. we can think it as another system. So, here i want to open a folder (exists in another system )from the client system.

    I think now my requirement will be clear to all.

    A bit strange wish.
    r u wana open the folder on some different server or machine?
    The client system is a web-client, isn't it?
