thread model in java6 jvm
what is the thread model used in the sun jvm for java 6?
are user threads mapped to unique kernel threads (1:1 model)
or are they multiplexed? (M:N model)?
is there some documentation about this?

I couldn't find anything of an official nature, but it appears the model used is kernel mapped according to its own scheduler(kernel:Linux/Windows).
