    Default Code for adding search function in an application

    Hi,
    I want to enhance the application by adding search function in it.But I don't know what exactly to be done to make this possible,as I am new to Java.Can anyone help me to write a code for this particular requirement.

    Please be more specific. What are you searching for? What is the application you are trying to add this to? What are its functions and features- you've left out ALOT of information.

    hey i have the same problem. i need to do a search function inside a text file. i all ready reading the text file inside a text area, but i dont have any idea of how i can implement the search function.

    skafervijay... hello, but you did three things wrong:
