intimating file(s) have reached/copied in directory
hi all, can somebody suggest on how to awake a thread or group of threads (that were in sleep) as soon as file(s) (of specific pattern ) copied in a directory by another threads.
Also I don't want to perform massage passing by thread that is coping files in that directory.
Thanks in advance
Ashutosh

Don't keep the threads sleeping, make them wait on a monitor and then notify when the files are ready.
