SWT JFace bug using context menu

[news.eclipse.platform.swt] Alternative to Tree/Treeviewer

They mention a bug with the SWT but don't provide any evidence. The responses seem to agree that, yes there is a bug, but also don't provide any links of evidence. The closest I found was https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=239927 Can anyone point me to proof that I can't have a popup appear within a TreeViewer node?
