How to trim text in viewer
Hello,
In my application, we have created a customized viewer for group by case in viewer(like if u do groupby in detail view). If the text for any column gets exceeded to a large no. of characters that are not accommodated in column area then, how can the text be shown with trimmed characters.
like in windows showing some text and then ...(3dots).

Sorry pal, I'm not familiar with JFace. And also the best place too discuss about this is JFace forum. I'll move your thread to JFace forum, and I hope you can find a solution there.

Sorry Divya , i think this problem is quite tedious. becoz three ... is default nature in viewer if it's not customized. since your application is having customized viewer then offcourse you also have to customize this three dot problem :) . It would be better if you discuss this problem to whom who has customized viewer or may b ur gr8 batchmate in ur team.
