    Default Simple solution

    If you still need some solution:

    You can try System.getProperty("microedition.platform");

    But it's just a general solution, cause you can never be sure about the model of your phone by using any soft installed on it :).

    If you need the full source of MIDlet (just not to bother writing yourselft) try:

    import javax.microedition.midlet.MIDlet;
    import javax.microedition.lcdui.Display;
    import javax.microedition.lcdui.Form;
    import javax.microedition.lcdui.StringItem;

    public class TestPlatform extends MIDlet {
    private Display d = null;
    private Form f = null;
    private StringItem model = null;
    public TestPlatform() {
    f = new Form("Test");
    model = new StringItem("Mobile model:", System.getProperty("microedition.platform"));
    f.append(model);
    }
    public void startApp() {
    if (d == null) {
    d = Display.getDisplay(this);
    }
    d.setCurrent(f);
    }
    public void pauseApp() {}
    public void destroyApp(boolean uncoditional) {
    notifyDestroyed();
    }
    }

    Best Regards,
    Alex.
