For me, third one is fine, "Where Learning and Development Begins". But how about the changing the main title in font use in fourth image.

Nice work captain!
I think we should have a poll for the slogan. Once we decide on the slogan, i can place the zip of alternative designs on the web server. Then we can discuss and vote on the design."The sole cause of man’s unhappiness is that he does not know how to stay quietly in his room." - Blaise Pascal

Sounds good to me! This definitely cuts down on the choices, not to mention making my job a little easier. :)
Cheers,
Poll is now posted and available.Last edited by CaptainMorgan; 06-29-2008 at 09:49 AM.

server space
I have a massive amount of server space, I would not mind even slightly if we can do deep-linking by servlet and robust security. I am what may be termed overly defensive, but am readily comfortable with a directory being created ad-hoc, later removed or deleted. A method of access that keeps spiders from finding the store would probably be sufficient. Anything that forces a person to think is a candidate access protocol.
I am trying to write a servlet this morning, you can take the Member's Home page link ( let it load, the name maps on dns to the server I have actually hired ) and change dir /discuss/ to /kitty/ - it will come up to kitty.html : It base dir was mapped to kitty.html yesterday, I tested several times. The server is Tier-1 with site security proven to be good to exceptionally good. I just now created /b520/ off web base dir, will put up some type of index.html momentarily to welcome readers of this thread.

What about "The Most Friendly and Helpful Java Forum". Just from personal experience this is the only forum I've experienced where you get multiple inputs, people tossing out jokes, and feedback even if the person can't help.

Liberty has always come from the subjects of government.
The history of liberty is the history of resistance.
The history of liberty is a history of the limitation of governmental power, not the increase of it.

Not bad actually. But the reason is at the moment voting is close and also the one you suggest is not in the list. We discuss about this matter long time ago lol. But still not finalize. Anyway thanks for your feedback. I hope we have to wait for few month. Our admin is on his PHD and busy with his work. When he returns we can discuss about this in more details.

Friendly... yes!
I would like to say that this is a very friendly java forum. I don't think it's the biggest, but defintely is one nicest and more helpful forums there is. I sorta like (with a slight change):

with first design.
