    Default Inserting literal code tags

Call me stupid, but I haven't been able to figure out how to insert [ code ] tags to tell people to use code tags. I have tried [[code]], \[code\], and all sorts of variations, but it gets converted all time. How do you guys do that?

Put an empty set of bold tags inside the code tag :)

    Testing:
    Java Code:
    [B][/B]
    Java Code:
    <b></b>
    Java Code:
    [b/]
    Java Code:
    [b]
    []
    Java Code:
    []

I can't think of any more combinations right now, but still the forum doesn't like it. Is this a moderator thing only perhaps?

I have been using the code tag "noparse" with the usual syntax to temporarily disable parsing.

    Surfman: [[B][/B]code] ;)

Jim's noparse works as well, just takes a little longer.

    Testing noparse [code][/code]
    Testing BB: [code][/code]

I'll make a macro on my G19 keyboard for that :)
    Thanks for the tips.
