Soooo many threads with 0 replies.
Hey.

I'm new here but I have noticed there are loads and loads of threads with 0 replies. Why is this?

Is it because there is a lack of members with actual knowledge?

Come one people! Get stuck in

We can better phrase it as having much less numbers of people who wants to contribute than the people who need to ask questions. And this is normal as far as i see.

Time is needed to create a real community. I can see that the number of contributers increases by time but very slowly.

And this is a very new forum compared to other old java forums (javaranch, sun or javalobby). When compared to their progress and ours i can see that our performance is very good.

OK thanks for the reply, that makes sense. I've just never seen so many unanswered posts before.

I'm one more person here who will contribute as much as possible.

Hopefully I can resolve some of these zero reply threads!

I made note of this when I became an active member of our community and attempted to answer more often- specifically the threads with zero replies. I figured threads with >= 1 reply typically meant someone was on top of that thread in terms of answering it. Unfortunately, the last couple of weeks as become more hectic than I'd like and my contributions here have been limited. I see this changing periodically throughout the year and an ever lasting fact of life... nonetheless I will hopefully be around more often starting in a month or two.

Also, take note that this forum is highly specialized->One language. But thank goodness, this language that we love so much is extremely vast- thus the many different sub-forums you'll find here. And, as Mr. Bean said, we're still a young community- but we are growing, I hope infinitely.

Don, thank you for your contribution and keep it up! Looking forward to our future discussions.
