JDBC forum inaccessible
On the http://www.java-forums.org/forum.php page the JDBC forum shows 1006 threads including posts from today.
When I hover over the link I see http://www.java-forums.org/jdbc, and when I click that link I am taken to a page that tells me "There are no posts in this forum." The breadcrumbs show "Forum --> Learn Java --> Java Example --> JDBC".
Clicking on the most recent post *does* lead to the right place. Currently http://www.java-forums.org/jdbc/52791-loading-blob-data-database.html#post253098 shows the thread and displays the breadcrumbs "Forum --> Java API --> JDBC --> loading blob data in database". Clicking on "JDBC" in those breadcrumbs takes me to the same URL as before with the "no posts" message.
(Chrome 16.0.912.63 m, if that matters)

Re: JDBC forum inaccessible
It's affecting a number of forums, both Chrome and FF.
Yesterday both Eranga and myself posted in this thread: Command-Line Arguments
As you can see the thread is in the alternate universe of Learn Java Some rather wierd URL mangling is being done and moderators seem to be being redirected there without the option.
[edit] The command line thread in question has now been moved into the "real" Eclipse forum. So if you follow that link you won't see anything unusual. But if you click on the "Eclipse" link in the breadcrumbs you will be transported to the empty "Learn Java" version.Last edited by pbrockway2; 12-20-2011 at 08:52 AM.

Re: JDBC forum inaccessible
Further to this... I find the following fora inaccessible from the main list using either a moderator or an ordinary user account:
Java EE
-------
Struts
Hibernate
Spring
GWT
Java Mobile
-----------
Android
Java API
--------
JDBC
JPA
XML
Java Library
-----------
Apache Commons
Apache POI
Apache Velocity
Java Tool
---------
Apache Ant
Java IDE
--------
Netbeans
Eclipse
IntelliJ IDEA
It should be noted that these are the fora whose names are exactly the same as one in the "Learn Java" area.
While some of these fora have recent posts none have recently created threads.
-----
If anybody *can* access them could you please post here as it suggests my settings are screwed up in some way. But I am less and less thinking that as I see the same thing on multiple browsers with different accounts.
