post ur ebook name & get it here ..
Is this sort of post permitted by these forums? I have no idea.
regardless of whether this is permitted (and I feel strongly that it isn't), he is shamelessly spamming this place. Abuse reported.
Yes this is not allowed in our community. I've remove all other threads and leave only this. If he really wants to say something useful to other members in someway, he can explain it clearly here.
At the same time I'll keep in touch with his post, and if I found spamming here, I've to bane him here.
i saw everyone telling its unfair , why so if i want to give any one the ebooks they do not find what is wrong in that , i am not stealing anyone's data i just want to give the ebooks links which the members cannot find .
if helping others by giving ebooks is bad then may i know what is good & does the forum rule does not allow me to help someone by giving book links .
please reply me eranga
Plus, of course, a moderator has told you you're in violation of the forum rules, and that, I'm afraid, tends to be the end of such matters, whether you like it or not
Yes, this is unfair and not allowed here in our community. Lots of reasons.
As georgemc says, to all others you just like an advertiser. So in that case you should post your thread on the Advertising sub-forum only once. I found that you have post in several unrelated sub-forums in our community. It's major violation of our rules.
Then we don't know from where you find those e-books. May be you are trying to give away that someones copyrighted stuff. It's not legal, and it can make a bad picture about our community to the outside.
If you found those e-books somewhere on the web, you may have links. Why don't you post them here, in the correct forum, rather than sending e-books. So please don't do this in our community.
ok i am sorry eranga i will not post again but what is the meaning of moderator ??
Someone who moderates the forum, who controls what can and can't be posted, who can and can't post.
Are you still worrying about what I'm explain there. Actually we have to take few restriction to protect our community in lots of ways. This is only one of them. Still you are worrying about something, don't hesitate to contact me through this thread.
Actually this is not the right sub-forum to discuss this. So I've to move this thread.
(I had to remove the domain in front of the URLs, as the software for some strange reason wouldn't let me post links.)
That's two different scenarios.
On this thread poster saying that he can give away any e-book related to Java. In that case we don't know how he/she find those materials, copyrighted stuff or not. If it's copyrighted and someone else used it ans sue, not a good impression to our community on others who are looking to register here.
In the second case thread starter ask it. So the responsible on who send it. If you don't like send copyrighted stuff, just leave that thread. But still the rule is same, see other comments on those posts.
In both those threads it's clear what material is being asked for - and it's copyrighted. The second thread actually contains a hint on where to find it. If you're really concerned about "the impression to our community" -your words- then I can tell you that it's making a very bad impression indeed.
It depends on that how our Admins looking on that. So what we think is, as I said, the rule is same for both cases, but the way thread posters are behave is different. I think you miss what I try to explain.
Indeed, I don't understand how -if the rule is the same- one way of facilitating IP theft is OK, but some other way is not. Don't you think that the right thing to do would be not to tolerate it at all? Especially if you're concerned about the impression the community makes?
