    Default what is the best compiler?

    i'm a little bit confused using Eclipse IDE (i know this is just the matter of personal taste), does anyone has suggestion for another IDE? i'm looking for (one of) the best IDE(s) for java...

    Eclipse or Netbeans are the only contenders really (I'm sure others will disagree with me here). Check the sticky post about peoples favorite editors.

    I prefer Netbeans as I have been using it for approximately a year. Eclipse isn't that confusing once you get used to it, and it's relatively better than Netbeans. It is all up to you in the end.
